Term 4 Week 9

What: This week we had a water fight and we also made stained glass windows. Stephen found a cool website called glogster we have made a glog about the year highlights and things we will miss. Stephen was very nice and said that we did not have to do homework.

So What: This week I learnt how to make a glog.

Now What: I will focus on being P.O.Y.

Term 4 Week 8

What: This week we have been practicing our capitals. We are going to verse auroa school on monday. Yesterday it was the movember shave off Millar got to shave all the teachers. We have been working on perimeter and area in maths I think have got the hang of it now. We also had our athletics day on tuesday and I came third in javelin and long jump.

So What: This week Stephen has taught us a new game called hand soccer. Stephen also found a cool website called floorplanner.

Now What: Next week I will focus on beating auroa school in the capital challenge.

CO2 Car Race Day

Term 4 Week 7

What: This week I have been sick most of the week but I came in to school to watch my C02 car it won its race but lost the second. We also wrote a Co2 car story and went to school singing, my brother won a pyramid shaped ball!!!

So What: This week I learnt about perimeter and area. I also learnt where our fruit tree is it is an mandarin tree

Now What: I will focus on getting fully better.

Continents

Today we learnt about continents.

Term 4 Week 5

What: This week we have started making our CO2 cars and I’ve learnt that a coping saw is easier to shape than a craft knife. I also learnt a lot about the takahe, and we did it for the whole day! We made a report about takahe.We also saw all the cars for raffle for a ride. My favourite was the Lamborghini.

So What: This week I learned how to use StoryBird and make a new password.

Now What: I will focus on finishing my CO2 car.

Term 4 Week 4

What: This week we did tug of war to see how friction works and which team had the best grip unfortunately we lost 2/3. We were also learning how to include speech in our writing. We also did some stuff on e-learning and geometry.

So What: This week we learnt Stephen taught us how to use befunky and mystudiyo we also learnt that there is more than one net for an open cube and any 3D shape.

Now What: I will focus on getting better at high jump.

Today Madeline and Ella found some photos of my family and I in the square, here they are!
